Oven-baked donuts made from ready-made plain yeast dough are the quickest option there is: half a kilo of dough, a glass and a shot glass to cut the shapes, and 8-10 minutes in the oven at 180°C. Since the dough is plain, I decorate the finished donuts with melted chocolate and a sprinkle of corn flakes. I recommend this when you want baked treats without a long knead - enjoy!

Quick Oven-Baked Donuts
Quick yeast donuts made from ready-made plain dough, baked in the oven and topped with chocolate and corn flakes.
Ingredients
Method
- Place the ready-made dough on the counter and knead it by hand for about 5 minutes.
- Roll the dough into a thin sheet, no thicker than 0.5 cm. Cut out a circle with a glass, then cut a smaller circle from the center with a shot glass to form the donut shape.
- Transfer the shapes to a greased baking sheet and let them rise while the oven heats up.
- Bake at 180°C for 8-10 minutes.

- Let the donuts cool completely, then decorate with melted chocolate and sprinkle with corn flakes. Enjoy!

Notes
The dough is plain - the donuts are neither sweet nor salty on their own, so the topping carries the flavor.
Tips
- Thickness: roll the sheet no thicker than 0.5 cm, or the donuts will come out heavy.
- Shape: the glass cuts the outer circle, the shot glass cuts the hole in the middle.
- Decoration: the dough is plain, so the flavor comes from the topping - chocolate, flakes, nuts or sprinkles.
