Onion Patties with Egg
Quick, inexpensive patties made from onions, hard-boiled eggs, and herbs - fried in a skillet and served with sour cream.
Ingredients
Method
- Hard-boil 4 eggs, let them cool, and peel them.
- Peel and finely chop the onions, then transfer to a bowl. Add the finely chopped hard-boiled eggs and mix. Season with salt and pepper, add the herbs, and mix again.

- Add the flour, crack in one raw egg, and mix into a batter.

- Heat a skillet with vegetable oil and spoon the mixture in without shaping the patties by hand. Fry on both sides.

- Let the patties cool slightly and serve - delicious with sour cream. Enjoy!

Notes
There's no need to shape the patties by hand - just spoon the mixture straight into the skillet.
Tips
- No need to shape the patties: I just spoon the mixture straight into the skillet - it's faster and they come out even.
- Serving: let the patties cool slightly and serve with sour cream - that's when they taste best.
- Herbs - use whichever you like, they make the flavor fresher.
