Plum crumble is a portion-sized dessert of baked plums under a crunchy streusel of flour, sugar and cold butter. Just four ingredients, half an hour in the oven, and it turns out simply divine. Highly recommended.

Method
- Wash the plums, remove the pits and cut into pieces.
- Grease ceramic ramekins with butter and fill them with plum pieces almost to the top.
- For the streusel, rub the sugar, flour and cold butter into a crumb and sprinkle it over the plums.

- Bake in an oven preheated to 180-190°C for 30 minutes, until golden. Remove and let cool for a couple of minutes.

Tips
- Be sure to use cold butter for the streusel - that's the only way you get a proper crumb.
- Grease the ceramic ramekins with butter and fill them with plums almost to the top.
- The crumble is best still warm - but eat carefully, the filling is very hot.
