Cottage cheese casserole with pear - a tender cottage cheese batter made with three eggs and butter, topped with pieces of canned pear. It bakes in one pan for 40-45 minutes - perfect for breakfast. It comes out fragrant and absolutely delicious, I recommend everyone try making it!

Cottage Cheese Casserole with Pear
A tender cottage cheese casserole made with three eggs and butter, topped with pieces of pear. A simple one-pan breakfast.
Ingredients
Method
- In a bowl, mash the cottage cheese with the eggs using a whisk until smooth.
- Add the flour, sugar, and vanilla sugar, and mash well until the mixture is smooth.
- Pour in the melted and cooled butter and mix again until smooth.
- Transfer the batter to a pan lined with parchment and arrange pear pieces on top.
- Bake in an oven preheated to 200°C for 40-45 minutes.

- Let the finished casserole cool and cut into pieces. Enjoy!

Notes
I baked mine for exactly 40 minutes in a rectangular pan. Fresh pear can be used instead of canned.
Tips
- Pear can be fresh too - pick a ripe but firm one so the pieces don't fall apart during baking.
- Cottage cheese should be mashed with the eggs until fully smooth - that's what gives the casserole its smooth texture.
- Butter should be melted ahead of time and cooled before mixing into the cottage cheese mass.
- Cutting is easier once the casserole has cooled - it's still too soft while warm.
