An amazing dark beer brownie with cherries - a magical combination of light alcohol, tart cherries and, of course, a chocolate cake. It's based on a Jamie Oliver recipe, though the original uses raspberries, while ours has cherries instead. I highly recommend making this cake - it won't leave anyone indifferent, I know that for a fact!

Dark Beer Brownie
A moist chocolate brownie made with dark beer and tart cherries, based on a Jamie Oliver recipe. Rich, fragrant and very easy to make.
Ingredients
Method
- In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, sugar and baking powder.
- In a separate bowl, melt the butter with the chocolate. Add the butter-chocolate mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whip the eggs into a fluffy foam and pour into the main mixture. Stir.
- Add the thawed cherries and the beer. Mix the batter until smooth.
- Line a pan about 25x20 cm with parchment and pour in the batter. Bake for 25 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 C.

- Take out the cake, let it cool, and cut into pieces. Or better yet, put it in the fridge overnight to mature. Bon appetit!

Notes
Jamie Oliver's original uses raspberries instead of cherries - feel free to make it that way too. After a night in the fridge, the brownie becomes even tastier.
Tips
- Berries: Jamie Oliver's original uses raspberries; feel free to swap the cherries for raspberries, it will be just as delicious.
- Resting: it's best to put the finished cake in the fridge overnight - the brownie "matures" and becomes even tastier.
