- Peel the pears and cut into pieces, add the sugar and cinnamon and stir.
- Place the pears in a dry skillet and braise for 10-15 minutes until soft and caramel-colored.

- For the batter, pour the kefir into a bowl, add the sugar, salt and baking powder, and stir. Beat in the egg and whisk, then add the flour at the end and mix well.
- Heat a skillet with oil and fry the pancakes on both sides.
- Serve the pancakes topped with the caramelized pear. Enjoy!

Notes
Bera pears hold their shape well, but any firm variety will work.
Tips
- Braise the pear in a dry skillet - the sugar will produce its own caramel.
- The pear is ready when it's softened and has taken on a caramel color.
