Method
- In a bowl, mix 350g of flour with the yeast, add sugar and salt and stir.
- Pour in the warm milk and water, then add the melted butter and knead the dough, adding the remaining flour if needed. Shape into a ball and leave in a warm place for 1.5-2 hours.
- For the paste, if you don't have rice flour, grind rice in a coffee grinder and sift through a sieve.
- Mix the rice flour with the dry yeast, add salt, sugar and warm water and knead into a paste, then stir in the vegetable oil at the end. Leave under plastic wrap while the dough rises.
- Divide the risen dough into 6 pieces, shape each into a round bun, place on a baking sheet and leave for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C, coat the buns generously with the rice paste and bake for 30 minutes.
